Spencer Dinwiddie had another strong night in Saturday’s 102-114 loss, shooting 5-of-10 from the field and 3-of-8 from deep en route to 15 points, six rebounds, nine assists and three blocks in 30 minutes of action.
Dinwiddie just keeps rolling. He’s grabbed the point guard job by the throat here and hopefully you picked him up when we told you to. There’s a case to be made for him keeping 20-plus minutes even when the Nets are at full strength and he’s played his way into the long-term picture here. Sometimes all guys need is a chance, and Dinwiddie has finally taken advantage of his opportunity after years of bench anonymity. You can try and sell high if you’d like but we’re not too sure you’ll get equal value back on a guy who doesn’t have name brand status yet. Enjoy the ride.
