Kevin Durant scored 25 points on 8-of-19 shooting (3-of-9 3PTs, 6-of-7 FTs) with seven rebounds, three assists, two steals and five blocks in the Warriors’ 99-92 win over the Cavs on Monday.
Durant also fouled LeBron on the game-deciding play but it wasn’t called and you’ll hear a bit about that. The blocks for Durant this season highlight how players can benefit from playing with other good defenders, but as you can imagine this is a bit of a sell-high moment in the world of superstar trades as Stephen Curry will return soon. Klay Thompson added 24 points, seven boards and four treys, and Draymond Green triple-doubled in the win with 12 points, 12 rebounds, 11 assists, two steals, one block and two 3-pointers in the win.
