Dwight Howard scored 25 points on 11-of-23 shooting with 20 rebounds, two assists, one steal and six blocks in the Hornets’ 119-111 overtime loss to the Bulls.
Howard is still only a punt play but at least he has been very productive as one this season, averaging 15.8 points with 11.8 boards, 0.6 steals and 1.3 blocks. With Cody Zeller (knee) out for a bit and Frank Kaminsky (ankle) day-to-day, he’ll have to do a lot of lifting. Marvin Williams added a season-high 17 points with nine rebounds, one steal, one block and three treys as he added to his value as a must-own player, and Michael Kidd-Gilchrist (15 points, seven rebounds, two assists, one block) is worth a look in 12-14 team leagues while the Hornets have thinned out.
