Dwight Howard helped the Hornets crush the Wizards on Wednesday night with 18 points, 15 rebounds, two assists, two blocks and two steals.
The Hornets have improved over the last three and a half weeks and Howard has been a huge reason why. Charlotte is 7-4 in their last 11 games and Dwight is averaging 16 points, 14 rebounds, two assists and two blocks over that time while shooting 54 percent from the floor. To add to his great night, Howard also had an abnormally nice game from the charity stripe. Howard shot 4-for-5 from the line and to put it in perspective, Dwight has shot five or more free throws in 10 of the last 11 games and this is just his second time shooting 80 percent or better in that time.
