Dwyane Wade scored 24 points on 10-of-17 shooting (4-of-4 FTs) with four rebounds, four assists and one steal in the Heat’s 122-101 blowout win over the Cavs on Saturday.
Wade crossed the 20,000 point threshold and he’ll be a surefire first ballot HOFer. Goran Dragic added 18 and 11 and dinged his left elbow but we haven’t heard anything about it at all in the postgame. Joe Johnson kept up his tear with 18 points, four threes, three boards, two assists and two steals. Luol Deng (three points, one three, two blocks, three boards) was held in check during his 23 minutes but Erik Spoelstra pulled his starters late and there is nothing to worry about. Owners just need to hope that the Heat continue to play for seeding in the East.
