James Harden was video game-like on Wednesday night, totaling 51 points with nine assists, three rebounds, one steal, one block, six turnovers and four 3-pointers in the Rockets’ loss to the Lakers.
I mean, come on. Perhaps the best offensive player in the league turned it up a notch on the Lakers on Wednesday night. His efficiency is otherworldly. He shot 15-of-27 and 4-of-6 from deep. But most notable would be how easily he gets to the free throw line. He took 21 free throws and made 17. You’ll typically see more rebounds and even more assists from the Beard but with that 51 points, it can surely be forgiven.
