Goran Dragic did the heavy lifting in Friday’s road win, scoring 30 points on 10-of-18 from the field while knocking down four triples.
Dragic hit what proved to be the game-winning bucket with 15 seconds left as the Heat were finally able to pick up a win on their west coast swing. He wasn’t particularly effective in the other categories with just five boards and two assists but owners won’t complain about his second straight game hitting the 30-point mark. After hitting a lowly 39.0 percent from the field, Dragic has been on the upswing since and is at 48.2 percent so far in March. He won’t repeat last year’s success but should be able to end up in the same ballpark if that upward trend continues.
