James Harden scored 26 points on 8-of-19 shooting (2-of-6 3PTs, 8-of-9 FTs) with seven rebounds, 10 assists and a career-high eight steals in the Rockets’ 89-87 loss to the visiting Jazz on Wednesday.
Harden still isn’t 100 percent after his ankle tweak and one had to know he’d grip the ball very tightly in this one. Of course, the one-dimensional attack made Trevor Ariza the second-leading scorer with just 12 points and nobody else in the starting line hit double-figures. Dwight Howard scored five points with eight boards and six blocks as the Rockets fell into the No. 9 seed with the loss.
