James Harden took over the game in Monday’s 130-123 victory over the Pelicans, scoring 26 points on 8-of-16 shooting with four triples, 17 assists and six steals.
The 6-of-9 mark at the line isn’t usual, but owners can overlook that with the line that the Beard gave them tonight. He took over in the fourth quarter with a pair of triples and a steal that would put away the Pelicans for good. Harden is the No. 1 player in 8-cat and 9-cat leagues with LeBron James trailing behind him and it looks like he’s elevated his game to another level. The addition of Chris Paul has done nothing to slow him down and his efficiency from the field has actually increased to 46.3 percent which is his highest mark since he was on the Thunder and is hitting a career-high 40.6 percent from deep. Owners are going to enjoy another MVP campaign.
