Jared Sullinger scored 17 points on 7-of-15 shooting (including two threes) with 13 boards, one steal and two threes in Sunday’s road win over the Sixers.
Sullinger had been hit by the return of Kelly Olynyk but he was able to use his size against a very thin Sixers frontcourt. Owning him going forward is likely to be a lot like last week, mixing good games with the bad. He has a three-game week that he’ll probably be bench-worthy and then a four-game week that will probably work out for 12-team owners, depending on the stats you’re tracking.
Isaiah Thomas added 26 points with six boards, eight assists, two threes, a steal and 10-of-10 FTs, and Avery Bradley scored 20 points with three treys, three boards, four assists and four steals. Amir Johnson scored a season-high 18 points on 9-of-10 shooting with eight boards and two blocks, and Evan Turner proved his must-own credentials with 17 points, nine boards, six assists and a three in the win. Johnson has been bad lately and the frontcourt is too crowded to gamble on his in a three-game week.
