• Jeff Green and Wesley Johnson both started in the Clippers’ 101-94 win over the Knicks on Friday with Paul Pierce (toe, old) and Luc Richard Mbah a Moute (eye) on the shelf.

Green was the better play with 17 points, six rebounds, four assists, one block and one trey in his 45 minutes, and Johnson had 10 points, four rebounds, one steal and two threes in his 23 minutes.  Neither are good long term assets.  DeAndre Jordan went for 10 and 19 with one steal and six blocks, J.J. Redick started for 20 points with four treys, and Chris Paul went for 24 and 15 with four treys and a full stat line in the win.
