Jimmy Butler scored 37 points on 11-of-23 shooting (1-of-3 3PTs, 14-of-14 FTs) with eight rebounds, a career-high nine assists and three steals in the Bulls’ 106-95 win over the Wizards on Saturday.
Don’t look now but it could be the case that the Bulls are going to send a message to Rajon Rondo loud and clear that he doesn’t get to fling the ball around the yard in search of assists. Rondo was benched and Dwyane Wade isn’t as much of a concern when it comes to giving Jimmy the ball and letting him operate. Butler might have been such a disappointment due to the overhype last season and along with concerns over sharing the ball, he might be poised to beat his ADP. He’s currently returning late first round value and top-16 returns shouldn’t be out of the question.
