John Wall propelled the Wizards to a 103-99 victory over the Hawks on Wednesday, scoring 20 points with 14 assists in Game 5.
He commanded all of the Hawks’ attention from the jump and they still struggled to slow him down. Wall fired pinpoint passes all over the floor, setting up teammates for corner threes and easy looks at the rim. He added six boards, one 3-pointer and one steal to his scoring and assists, looking every bit like the superstar Washington has hoped he would become. He’ll look to repeat his performance in Friday’s Game 6.
