Jordan Bell scored 20 points on 9-of-13 shooting with 10 rebounds, three assists, one steal and one block over 25 minutes in Friday’s win over the Lakers.
The Warriors experimented with him starting next to Draymond Green and it worked, and the entire Bell experiment is going to work because he can simply be athletic and make plays in wide open spaces. He was a top-75 player over the last month in just 17 mpg before tonight and we called him a must-own player then. Run, don’t walk to pick him up in your 12-team format even though it’s plausible he isn’t able to keep quite that pace if he settles into a 15 mpg role when the Warriors are healthy. There is simply too much upside here to pass up.
