Josh Richardson scored a career-high 27 points on 11-of-14 shooting (including three treys) with two rebounds, one steal and one block in the Heat’s 105-100 win over the Hornets on Friday.
Richardson’s bounce-back was far overdue and this is the type of line that made him one of Hoop Ball’s signature pickups two seasons ago. We can’t say with certainty that the logjam issues aren’t going to hinder him going forward, but if he can get out of the shooting slump it’s possible he can settle in as a solid late-round value with upside if injuries strike Miami. That’s something you’d trend toward having rather than not having.
