Karl-Anthony Towns put up a laudable effort on Thursday but unfortunately his 22 points and full stat line was not enough to lift his team to victory over the Bucks.
It was an efficient scoring night for KAT who made 8-of-12 shots from the field, 4-of-8 from downtown, and 2-of-3 from the line. Towns also pulled down five boards, dished out four dimes and got one steal and one block. The rebounding was a downer, with this being his first game to fail to clean up on the glass with double-digit boards in recent memory, but the four treys were a welcome bonus. Towns has seen a boost in value recently thanks to the uptick in blocks. The big man is averaging 2.2 swats in his last five games.
