Karl-Anthony Towns did all he could to hold off another Wolves’ loss on Wednesday, but came up short against the Knicks.
He scored 47 points with 18 boards, two assists, one steal and three blocks, while also shooting 15-of-22 from the floor and 17-of-20 from the stripe. Despite returning second round value all season this was Towns’ best game of the year to date. He scored 22 points in the first frame alone, and New York simply had no answers for him inside. Unfortunately, the Wolves remain stuck on just five wins so far this season, but will look to bounce back in MSG on Friday.
