Kenneth Faried scored 25 points on 11-of-18 shooting with a season-high 20 boards, one steal and one block in the Nuggets’ 116-114 overtime win over the Mavs on Sunday.
Faried got extra minutes and Michael Malone spoke glowingly about him after the game, but it was also clear that he’s sharing minutes so the other bigs can get court time too. He’s on a tear right now with top 45-70 value (9/8 cat) over the last month, averaging 24.9 minutes with 14.7 points, 9.1 boards, 1.1 combined steals and blocks and 64.2 percent shooting from the field. If he could keep this up owners would view it as a win after the season he has had.
