Kevin Durant scored 27 points on 10-of-16 shooting (2-of-4 from deep, 5-of-8 from the line) with five rebounds, three assists, two steals and one block in the Warriors’ loss to the Lakers on Friday.
This was predictable. The Warriors try to assimilate Durant early on and everybody else stalls out while it happens. One also has to wonder how Steph and Klay are taking the productivity surge out of Draymond Green and Durant while the team loses. This is all part of the reason why Vegas had the Warriors at just 66 wins, and the Durant dominance is a bit of a sell high moment in a highly competitive elite tier.
