Kevin Durant tried to will the Warriors to victory on Sunday but ultimately came up short, shooting 11-for-32 and finishing with 39 points, 12 rebounds, four assists, three blocks and five 3-pointers in 39 minutes.
Durant also went 12-of-12 from the free throw line. He was pretty peeved with the whistle at times today, and a few more generous calls would’ve saved him a few percentage points on efficiency. The 32 shots were his most ever as a Warrior and his highest total since 2014 in a double overtime game. KD had built up a nice cushion in the field goal percentage category prior to this one and is still shooting .491 over his last five even after this, but the rough shooting probably swung hundreds of fantasy matchups today. He’s going to keep on posting elite numbers (more efficiently, mind you) going forward and will be dropping crazy lines as long as Steph Curry remains out. Draymond Green also played up to standard on Sunday, picking up10-8-7 with three steals, two triples and a block.
