Kevin Love was cooking early and finished Sunday’s loss with 28 points, 10 rebounds, seven threes and three blocks in 36 minutes.
Love hit five three pointers in the first quarter and this one looked like it was headed for another laughable box score before Boston roared back into the series. He shot 8-of-16 from the field and 7-of-13 from deep and owned the glass when paired with Tristan Thompson. He exchanged some words with Jonas Jerebko and ended up on his back more than once as the Celtics upped their physicality in this one. Love also delivered a gorgeous outlet pass for an easy layup, as he tends to do. He remains a featured part of Cleveland’s early-game offense and can rack up numbers in a hurry. He got hot tonight but the Cavs couldn’t finish the job. Expect Love to continue confounding Boston in Game 4.
