Tim Hardaway Jr. did all he could in Wednesday’s 118-113 loss, finishing with 37 points, five rebounds, two steals and six threes on 14-of-24 shooting.
Hardaway had 32 points in the first half and most definitely shot his way out of a recent slump. It looked like the party was on, with THJ heading into the half just six points shy of a career-high and the Knicks boasting a lead of 24. They led by as many as 27 in the first half but got smoked in the third and saw their lead evaporate in a flash. As for Hardaway himself, he was held to just five points in the second half as the Wizards could sell out on all of his Knicks teammates to make sure their only real shot maker had to move heaven and earth to get his buckets. The Knicks are going nowhere fast this season but at least fantasy owners can lean on Hardaway for top-90 production from here on out.
