Kristaps Porzingis finally got back on track with 20 points on 7-of-14 shooting (2-of-3 3PTs, 4-of-4 FTs) with seven rebounds, two assists and three blocks in Saturday’s loss to the Wizards.
Porzingis played 39 minutes and though he tested our patience he came through for us at the very last second. Now he just needs to keep it going. We’ve liked him to be an early round value down the stretch but Kurt Rambis and some minor ailments have held him back. If he can do this the rest of the year he might have a shot at justifying our optimism.
