Though the Raptors trailed by as much as 17 in the first half, their successful comeback was led by an 11 point, 10 rebound, 12 assist triple-double from Kyle Lowry.
Lowry had another rough shooting night with a 4-for-14 mark from the floor but was at least 3-of-7 from deep, including a dagger in the final two minutes. He had a few misses close to the rim that were blown layups or plays where he could’ve gotten a foul call from some stricter officials. Even with the poor shooting numbers, Lowry had his share of shrewd passes to get his teammates easy buckets at the rim and helped jump start things after a lethargic first half. The Raptors’ big guns haven’t really lit it up as the team tries to revamp their offense, but that will come soon enough. Lowry added two steals and committed just one turnover in 36 minutes.
