Kyle Lowry came out firing in Friday’s 108-105 win over the Rockets, ending the game with a team-high 30 points on 10-of-14 shooting to go with three rebounds, six assists, a steal and seven 3-pointers.
Lowry helped the Raptors build a big lead in the first half and hit a few big buckets in the second to help keep the Rockets at arm’s length. It had been a while since Lowry really asserted himself as a scorer, so this was a great sight for fantasy owners despite his perpetual top-35 value. The ACC was rocking on Drake Night and the home side was able to end Houston’s 17-game win streak in a battle between the NBA’s Conference leader. In one of the games of the season so far, Lowry was huge for the Raptors, as he always is.
