Kyrie Irving shot 14-for-24 from the field and 5-for-5 from the line for 35 points with two boards, two assists, one steal and four three-pointers in 34 minutes.
It was the first time that the Cavs’ big three all scored 25 points each in a playoff game. His 37 points were the second most in a playoff game since he dropped 41 in Game 5 of the NBA Finals last June. Irving repeatedly torched Jeff Teague on crossover dribbles and step back moves to drill big shot after big shot all night. With the Cavs taking a commanding 2-0 lead, investing in Kyrie was a wise investment in playoff leagues, as he has started hot in the first two games so far. Game 3 is on Thursday in Indianapolis.
