Zach LaVine scored 28 points on 10-of-15 shooting (3-of-7 from deep, 5-of-6 from the line) with three rebounds and one assist in Monday’s loss to the Suns.
LaVine’s line was the least lethal of the bunch and it was still pretty good, and it’s worth pointing out that we’ve been told he is still working through his shoulder injury. The two-time dunk champ has been rolling at a top-60 level. Gorgui Dieng has been twice as good while bringing back top-30 numbers, and he had another great night with 12 points, nine rebounds, three steals, two blocks and 6-of-7 freebies. Hopefully you weren’t crazy enough to drop him earlier in the year. Karl-Anthony Towns had a ‘quiet’ 17 points, 10 rebounds, two assists and one steal in the win.
