LeBron James scored 33 points on 14-of-22 shooting (2-of-4 3PTs, 3-of-5 FTs) with five rebounds, four assists and two steals in the Cavs’ 100-96 win over the Pacers on Monday.
We had a feeling James would come out and try to set the tone, though the offense didn’t exactly look great tonight. Expect to hear a stronger chorus pinning the offensive issues on James and Kyrie Irving since nothing has really changed under the new coach compared to the old coach. Irving got going with 22 points on 5-of-13 shooting (11-of-11 FTs), three rebounds, six assists, one steal and one three, and Kevin Love also had a nice night with 13 points, eight rebounds, six assists, one block and one triple of his own.
