LeBron James scored 28 points on 10-of-23 shooting with nine rebounds, seven assists and a block in 38 minutes on Tuesday in a 102-114 loss to the Spurs.
James’ 28 point night held extra significance tonight as he became the youngest player in NBA history to reach 30,000 career points. The momentous occasion was soured by the fact that the Cavaliers suffered yet another loss in their recent slide, but another big line from James tonight only adds to the resume of a generational talent. It almost goes without saying at this point, but James appears to be a near lock for a top-10 finish this year (he’s scored 1,234 points on the season so far for those keeping track).
