LeBron James scored 28 points on 11-of-20 shooting (1-of-4 3PTs, 5-of-9 FTs) with 11 rebounds, eight assists, two steals and one block in the Cavs’ 120-103 win over the Celtics on Saturday.
James is probably a little bit irked over some of the shade the Cavs have gotten over the last week or so, and this is a nice win for a Cleveland team that could use some cohesion entering the playoffs. Kevin Love returned from his game off for rest, scoring 10 points on 1-of-6 shooting with four rebounds, three assists and one steal over 30 minutes, and Kyrie Irving scored 20 points with three rebounds, four assists, two blocks and three triples in the win. We’ll be watching to see if Love is taking the third-fiddle role again or if this was small sample size theater.
