Aaron Gordon dropped a monstrous line of 39 points, seven rebounds, five triples and two blocks on Saturday but couldn’t lead the Magic to a victory in a 117-111 loss.
Orlando had an 18-point lead at one point but squandered it, getting outscored by 22 over the course of the second half. Their wasted season comes amidst a true breakout from Gordon, who is coasting to top-50 numbers. Injuries are the only thing that have been able to slow AG this season, and moving to the power forward spot finally helped him reach the next level of his game. Gordon went 14-of-22 from the field and 5-of-11 from behind the arc tonight and is not someone owners should be trying to sell high with unless they can get a top-30 stud.
