Marcin Gortat scored eight points on 3-of-8 shooting with 17 rebounds, two assists, one steal and four blocks in the Wizards’ 100-99 loss to the Pacers on Saturday.
Gortat has been on fire in fantasy leagues with late-early round value but it wasn’t enough in a critical game for the Wizards’ playoff chances. John Wall played despite some foot and ankle soreness and finished with 25 points on 9-of-24 shooting, six rebounds, 12 assists, two steals, one three and seven turnovers in an inefficient performance. Wall’s season will be characterized by a lack of supporting talent, and his field goal percentage (42.8) and turnovers (4.0) are the results of that.
