• Wesley Matthews hit 7-of-13 shots (including a three) for 15 points, five rebounds, six assists and two steals in the Mavs’ 112-105 loss to the Pacers on Saturday.

Matthews’ owners needed a good line and they got it today, and the good news is that the Mavs are going to push hard on Matthews in their pursuit of the playoffs.  Dirk Nowitzki scored 30 points on 10-of-16 shooting (3-of-5 3PTs, 7-of-8 FTs) with five rebounds, two assists and two steals as he continues to defy Father Time, but the Mavs might get a visit from the Grim Reaper if they can’t turn things around very soon.  It’s possible they used all of their miles to get to this point.
