• Nikola Jokic
    PF/C, Denver Nuggets

Nikola Jokic, perhaps ticked off after yesterday's poor showing, came alive for 29 points (11-of-21 shooting), 16 rebounds, eight assists, three 3-pointers, two steals and a block in Tuesday's road loss.

Jokic and the Nuggets got worked over in Philly last night but asserted themselves a little better tonight. They got red hot in the second quarter to open up a nice lead but struggled down the stretch when some of Toronto's bench came in and locked things down on the defensive end. Two of Jokic's three turnovers came in the game's opening minutes and he was more or less unguardable thereafter, draining a handful of silky mid-range jumpers to pile up the points. He's primed for a big finish with Denver set to empty the tank in their pursuit of the playoffs.
