Otto Porter was outstanding in Wednesday’s 109-101 defeat at the hands of the Warriors, shooting 10-of-17 from the field and finishing with 29 points, 10 rebounds, two assists, two steals, four 3-pointers and just one turnover in 32 minutes of action.
Porter’s efficient scoring is absolutely huge, and just the cherry on top of an already sublime stat set. OPJ worked his way into a first-round valuation over the course of February and is a firm second-round asset in 9-cat leagues on the full season. Porter’s two-way game is truly elite and he was the only Wizards regular to sniff a positive game with just a minus-3 plus-minus while the next-closest starter turned in a minus-11. He’s one of the least flashy studs around, but a stud nonetheless.
