Paul Millsap scored 37 points on 13-of-29 shooting (3-of-8 3PTs, 8-of-10 FTs) with 19 rebounds, seven assists, one steal and one block in the Hawks’ 142-139 4OT win over the Knicks on Sunday.
Millsap’s 60 minutes tied a franchise record and this game made lazy Sunday a fun and ridiculous one so we doff the proverbial cap. The Hawks don’t play until Wednesday, either, so everybody will get to rest up between now and then. Kent Bazemore continued his solid push with 24 points, nine boards and four threes, and Dennis Schroder put up 23 points, four boards and a career-high 15 assists in the win.
