• Paul Millsap
    PF, Denver Nuggets

Paul Millsap was on fire in Wednesday’s blowout win, shooting 8-of-9 from the field en route to 22 points, eight rebounds, three assists, five steals, one block and a 3-pointer in only 27 minutes of work against the Bulls.

Sure, the Bulls are barely present these days, but nobody will be nitpicking this line under even the most forgiving of circumstances. The Nuggets and Millsap haven’t really had a chance to jell given his injury woes and we probably won’t see the pairing really mesh until next season, but owners should be very excited about Millsap potentially returning to early-round form as the season winds down. He’s currently a top-65 option but Denver needs Ws, and they’ll need The Sapper firing on all cylinders to make it happen. Nikola Jokic finished with 21-7-5 and two triples on 9-of-11 shooting while Jamal Murray was surprisingly well-rounded with 16-5-7 and six cash counters. It was a good night to be a Nugget.
