Chris Paul scored 24 points on 5-of-14 shooting (3-of-7 3PTs, 11-of-13 FTs) with six rebounds, 13 assists and four steals in the Clippers’ 109-105 loss to the Pelicans on Sunday.
Paul got his numbers and J.J. Redick (24 points, four treys, one steal, 9-of-11 FGs) did too, but DeAndre Jordan was held to 12 points, nine boards, one block and just 6-of-11 hits from the foul line. Jamal Crawford had his sporadic standard league line of the week with 14 points, four rebounds, three assists, one steal and one three in 33 minutes off the bench. There wasn’t much to glean here other than that the Clippers overlooked the Pelicans and paid for it.
