Robert Covington scored 17 points on 4-of-10 shooting (3-of-8 3PTs, 6-of-8 FTs) with seven rebounds, four assists, four steals and one block in the Sixers’ 118-104 loss to the Rockets.
This game was a lot closer than the score suggested and Covington was a huge reason why, putting up the numbers you see and providing some nice defense on James Harden. Covington has been returning top 50-60 value over the last two months now that he has put distance between himself and his knee injury, and he has been a top-30 player over the last two weeks. Anybody who bought the line about dropping him earlier in the season is probably feeling a bit queasy.
