Rodney Hood had his shot working in Monday’s loss, going 10-of-18 from the field and 5-of-10 from deep on his way to 26 points, four assists and two steals.
Hood got 31 minutes in this one, and while it was partly due to Donovan Mitchell‘s foul trouble, Alec Burks also didn’t demand more run with eight points and four boards in 16 minutes. It’s becoming clear that Burks will lag behind the pack when all three shooting guards are healthy, and he’s going to be tough to trust since you can’t predict his scoring outbursts. Hood has stepped right back into a sizable role even if he’s unlikely to get off the bench any time soon. He should be owned in standard leagues.
