Ricky Rubio scored 22 points on 6-of-14 shooting (2-of-3 3PTs, 8-of-9 FTs) with six rebounds, three assists and three steals in the Wolves’ 104-98 loss to the Wizards on Wednesday.
Rubio gave the ball away six times and the low assist totals balanced out the big scoring line. Karl-Anthony Towns went for 14 and 15 with a season-high tying five assists, one steal and two blocks, and Gorgui Dieng (personal) played with six points, eight rebounds, five assists and one steal. Zach LaVine started and scored 21 points with two threes, three boards, two assists, one steal and 5-of-5 makes from the foul line in the loss.
