Russell Westbrook hit just 7-of-26 shots in Friday’s loss to the Cavs, but he still triple-doubled with 20 points, 12 boards, 10 assists, one steal and one block.
It can get ugly in the field goal percentage department and Westbrook is going to need some more help on the scoring side at the deadline if this team is going to make anything interesting. Victor Oladipo (17 points, 6-of-18 FGs, seven boards, four assists) is much better situated as a No. 3 scorer and then the question of Westbrook meshing with that No. 2 is the next question. A catch-and-shoot guy at the small forward position would be ideal.
