Russell Westbrook did not miss a shot on Wednesday, triple-doubling while also going 6-for-6 from the floor and 6-for-6 from the line.
According to the Elias Sports Bureau, Westbrook is the first player in NBA history to record a triple-double while going perfect from the floor and the free throw line. He finished with 18 points, 14 assists, 11 boards and two blocks in just 28 minutes, and would have added to his gaudy totals if the Sixers had put up more of a fight. Coming into tonight Westbrook was nursing a blister on his shooting hand, but it didn’t seem to affect him much. He’ll look to keep things rolling against the Rockets on Sunday.
