LaMarcus Aldridge went for 26 & 13 and Kawhi Leonard went for 18 & 14 with four assists, two blocks, one three and 7-of-8 makes from the foul line in the Spurs’ 87-79 win over the Warriors on Saturday.
Aldridge made some key shots late and they looked the part on Saturday, but the Warriors were coming off a tough win over the Mavs on Friday and they were without two key players in Andre Iguodala and Andrew Bogut. Still, for those of us wanting a championship series and not just a coronation, this was a welcome result. Danny Green also joined the fun with 10 points on 4-of-10 shooting, one three, four rebounds, two assists, one steal, three blocks and great defense and intangibles all night long. Deploy him at your own risk as a high upside play.
