• Stephen Curry scored 34 points on 10-of-20 shooting (2-of-9 3PTs, 12-of-15 FTs) with six rebounds, 10 assists and three steals in the Warriors’ Game 5 win over the Cavs on Monday.

Curry put up similar numbers in each of the Warriors’ four wins and even when he wasn’t as good in Game 4 he still had the normal zip on his fastball — which was something he didn’t have last year.  Whether you want to attribute that to his injury or not there was some question about how he’d fare in his matchup with Kyrie Irving, and he won that matchup by virtue of his competing on defense while Irving mostly languished on that end.
