Stephen Curry became the first NBA player to hit 300 3-pointers in Monday’s 119-113 win over the Magic, finishing with 41 points on 14-of-24 shooting, seven treys, 6-of-6 makes from the line, 13 rebounds, three assists and four steals.
Curry is trying to get banned from fantasy leagues next season and he also passed Rick Barry for franchise assists. Harrison Barnes was not able to take advantage of Andre Iguodala’s (hamstring) absence with eight points and not much else, and Klay Thompson scored 27 points with five triples, six boards and a steal. Draymond Green (illness) took an IV before the game and though he did not score but one point and had seven turnovers, he did get nine rebounds to go with 10 assists, two steals and three blocks in the win. Curry’s 300th trey was as memorable as one would have imagined. Remember where you are kids, you might not see another one of these seasons for a very long time.
