The Spurs opened up a commanding lead during the first quarter, but the Warriors answered back in the second. Despite playing against the most efficient defense in the league, Curry and Thompson were able to get free for open looks (or simply able to drain shots with hands in their faces). Steph finished with 29 points, 11 assists, three rebounds, one steal and four triples. He’s looked rejuvenated lately. As for Thompson, he scored 23 points with one block, two boards and four triples of his own. He played solid defense against Kawhi Leonard as well, and it feels as if the Warriors are rounding into form just as Kevin Durant is nearing a return.
