T.J. Warren poured in 27 points in Thursday’s 97-95 victory, supplementing his line with five rebounds, one assist, one steal, one 3-pointer and one block.
Warren had his shot going and knocked down 9-of-15 from the field and 8-of-10 from the free throw line. It was his highest scoring night in over a month, as he last dropped 27 on November 19th. In his defense, Warren has notched 20-plus in two straight and hadn’t been hanging owners out to dry between his two big nights with only one single-digit game in that span. He’s shooting just .424 on the month, well below his .494 career average. While Warren isn’t going to give you much besides scoring, there’s some buy low appeal here for a top-100 player who produces in one of the hardest categories to address on the waiver wire. Try to get him before he snaps back into form.
