Terrence Jones finished with 36 points, one assist, 11 boards, two steals and three blocks in Monday’s win over the Cavs.
Jones shot 13-18 from the field, 3-of-4 from beyond the arc and 7-of-10 from the line. The Kentucky product started in place of Anthony Davis and went off in his stead. In the four games Davis has missed, Jones has averaged 26.0 points, 9.2 boards and 1.0 blocks on 60 percent shooting from the field. If Davis were to ever go down long term then Jones would be a must add. Once Davis returns Jones will likely slot back in a bench role and will share minutes with the other Pelican bigs. He is still worth hanging onto though despite his inconsistent role due to his massive upside.
