Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson delivered on Wednesday night with big games to blowout the Oklahoma City Thunder in Game 2 of the Western Conference Finals.
Curry scored 17 points in the third quarter alone to blow the lid right off this one and finished with 28 points, five 3-pointers, three assists, two rebounds and a steal. He hurt his elbow on a hard-fall in the second half and a welt was seen growing shortly afterwards. He’ll likely ice it overnight and it’ll be a non-factor going forward but we will keep you posted. The injury which was to his shooting elbow did not affect his game at all as he finished the game 9-for-15 from the field.
Thompson shot only 5-for-17 but finished with 15 points, four assists, two rebounds, two 3-pointers and a steal. He played second fiddle to Steph tonight but the Warriors got the win and will look to keep the momentum going in Sunday’s Game 3 in Oklahoma City.
